Bryce Young will be keeping his college number in the pros.

Young will wear No. 9 for the Panthers, as he and the rest of the five-man draft class were assigned their team digits on Tuesday. He famously wore No. 9 during his career at Alabama.

With Young sporting No. 9 again in Carolina, second-year quarterback Matt Corral will switch to his college number (No. 2) this season. Corral, who wore No. 2 at Ole Miss, wasn’t able to claim the number last year because wideout D.J. Moore owned it.

Second-round pick and wideout Jonathan Mingo will wear No. 15, as veteran receiver Laviska Shenault moves to No. 5. Third-round pick and pass rusher DJ Johnson will wear No. 52. Mingo wore No. 1 at Ole Miss, while Johnson wore several different numbers at Oregon, including No. 2.

Fourth-round pick and guard Chandler Zavala will wear No. 62, while fifth-round pick and safety Jammie Robinson will wear No. 22. Zavala previously wore No. 64 at N.C. State, while Robinson wore No. 10 at Florida State.

Along with receiving his jersey number, Robinson became the first rookie from this year’s NFL Draft class to agree to terms on a contract on Tuesday. Robinson, the 145th overall selection from draft weekend, agreed to a four-year deal, but the terms of the contract weren’t immediately released.
