The Panthers will monitor the injury status of wide receiver DJ Chark ahead of the Monday Night Football matchup against the New Orleans Saints at Bank of America Stadium.

On Saturday, Chark (hamstring) was listed as questionable for the Week 2 matchup against their NFC South division rivals. Chark missed the Week 1 loss to Atlanta due to injury.

Head coach Frank Reich said he thinks Chark will play, barring a setback, but could be on a pitch count. If Chark does play on Monday, he will work with a group that also features Jonathan Mingo, Adam Thielen, Terrace Marshall and Ihmir Smith-Marsette.

Right tackle Taylor Moton (biceps) was left off the final injury status report for the week. Moton was a full participant on Saturday after being listed as limited in the previous workouts.

On Friday, the Panthers placed cornerback Jaycee Horn (hamstring) on injured reserve, so he was also left off the final injury report. Reich said Horn is expected to be back later this season.

The Panthers are also keeping a strategic hold on their offensive line situation. With starting left guard Brady Christensen (biceps) on season-ending injured reserve and starting right guard Austin Corbett (ACL) on the physically unable to perform list, Reich said he plans to start second-year lineman Cade Mays and rookie Chandler Zavala at the guard spots, but won’t clarify where each player will line up.

Mays spent the majority summer as the first-team right guard until Zavala beat him out for the starting spot ahead of Week 1.
