The Carolina Panthers have listed seven players who will not suit up against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Those guys are safety (and 2023 draft pick) Jammie Robinson, cornerback Shemar Bartholomew, center Andrew Raym, guard Jarrett Kingston, tight end Tommy Tremble (back/hamstring injury), tight end Messiah Swinson and defensive end LaBryan Ray.

None of these moves are particularly surprising. One thing to note: Robinson, a fifth-round pick in last year’s draft, brought value to the team as a hard-hitting player on special teams. His inactivity comes as the Panthers loaded up with defensive backs on the waiver wire, bringing in guys like Tariq Castro-Fields and Lonnie Johnson who will both play Sunday.

Sunday’s transactions are in addition to several roster announcements the Panthers made leading up to the week. On Friday, the team ruled starting tight end Tommy Tremble out with a back/hamstring injury. Then came Saturday, when the team announced that it’d move other starting tight end Ian Thomas to the injured reserve list, thinning out an already thin TE room.

On Saturday, the Panthers also announced five other moves:

Cutting defensive back and waiver-wire pickup Keenan Isaac

Signing TE Feleipe Franks to the active roster

Signing defensive tackle Jayden Peevy to the active roster

Elevating running back Mike Boone from the practice squad

And elevating cornerback Lonnie Johnson from the practice squad

New Orleans Saints inactives

The Saints have also announced their inactives.

Wide receiver A.T. Perry

Quarterback Spencer Rattler (designated third quarterback)

Defensive tackle Khalen Saunders

Linebacker D’Marco Jackson

Linebacker Jaylan Ford

Tight end Dallin Holker

Defensive tackle John Ridgeway III
