The Carolina Panthers’ road trip continues Sunday in the Mile High City.

The Panthers, now 1-6 after taking a beating at the hands of the Washington Commanders, take on the Denver Broncos (4-3) at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.

Here’s your pregame checklist.

How to watch NFL Week 8: Panthers-Broncos

Fans can catch the game on CBS.

Panthers-Broncos inactives

The Panthers have announced their inactives ahead of their contest with the Denver Broncos, which kicks off at 4:05 p.m. ET. Those players: WR Diontae Johnson, QB Andy Dalton, S Jammie Robinson, CB Dane Jackson, CB Shemar Bartholomew, OT Yosh Nijman and DE Jonathan Harris.

Johnson, the team’s top receiver, was ruled out on Friday. That means second-year QB Bryce Young will be without his two top favorite targets with Adam Thielen still being out as he makes his way off the IR (hamstring). Dalton came into Saturday listed as “doubtful” with a thumb sprain, which he sustained in a car accident earlier this week.

Dane Jackson’s absence is a tough pill to swallow after the team’s expected starting cornerback missed the first bulk of the season due to a hamstring injury before making his debut last week. OT Yosh Nijman’s absence also limits depth on an already hurt offensive line. Good news? Starting OT Taylor Moton is back to reclaim his starting role.

More good news: starting defensive A’Shawn Robinson, outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney and inside linebacker Josey Jewell are all back after missing time for a badly bruised defense.

The Broncos have announced the following players as inactive: QB Zach Wilson (emergency third QB), S PJ Locke, CB Kris Abrams-Draine, T Alex Palczewski, TE Greg Dulcich, OLB Dondrea Tillman, DL Eyioma Uwazurike.

Any fantasy football considerations?

The only Panthers player worth mentioning in fantasy football this week was Chuba Hubbard, who finished with 11 points on 52 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Quarterback Andy Dalton finished with -2 points after his two-interception day, and Diontae Johnson’s one-catch day mustered a point.

The Broncos, meanwhile, had a whole bunch of great fantasy performances — and if history is any indication, these players will be must-starts against a league-worst Panthers defense. Those guys? Running back Javonte Williams had 22 points after his prolific day: 88 yards and two touchdowns rushing; three catches for 23 yards. Quarterback Bo Nix had 15 points after a 164-yard passing day and a 75-yard rushing day.

It could also be interesting days for other Broncos playmakers: WR Courtland Sutton and WR Troy Franklin.
