Now, though, Moton has long-term security.
He will be under contract through the 2027 regular season, giving the Panthers a long-term plan at the position. Left tackle Ikem Ekwonu is under contract through the 2026 season, as he had his fifth-year option picked up in April.
With Moton locked up, four of the team’s five starting linemen are signed through next season. Starting center Austin Corbett, who won the job this month, is on a one-year deal.
