The Carolina Panthers are so close to earning their first NFL playoff bid since 2017.
How close, you ask?
And is there a particular rookie who might be a reason why?
That’s what Observer reporters Mike Kaye and Alex Zietlow discuss on the latest podcast episode of Processing Blue.
The two discuss rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan’s candidacy as the potential offensive rookie of the year — the pros and cons, but mostly the pros.
They also talk about the Bucs game, and they wonder aloud if the Week 17 game against the Seahawks really matters all that much. (Hint: It does ... sorta.) They also talk about the culture Dave Canales has instilled in his first two years as a head coach, and then they conclude the episode with their game/score predictions ahead of the Panthers’ home finale on Sunday.
