All signs point to the Carolina Panthers being without cornerback Charles Tillman for a fourth consecutive game this week.
Tillman is still recovering from a knee injury suffered in Week 10 against Tennessee. He was limited in practice Thursday for a second straight day, and Panthers coach Ron Rivera was realistic about Tillman’s chances this week against Atlanta.
“Each day will progress, but right now if we were going to do anything, I’d probably say that he’s doubtful,” Rivera said.
Receiver Brenton Bersin missed practice with a groin injury. It’s unclear how he was injured, and Bersin said in the locker room that he felt “iffy.”
Defensive end Mario Addison (ankle) was a full participant at practice. Rivera said he was pleased with what Addison did Thursday.
