Carolina Panthers confident TE Greg Olsen, CB Charles Tillman will play
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and cornerback Charles Tillman were both limited by knee injuries during Thursday’s two-hour practice, although coach Ron Rivera remains optimistic both will play Sunday against the Giants.
Tillman, who has missed the past four games, was listed as a full participant for Wednesday’s practice, which included a lighter workload than Thursday. Olsen, who injured his knee last week against Atlanta, has played in 139 consecutive games, dating to his rookie season in 2007.
In addition to running back Jonathan Stewart, who has already been ruled out with a foot sprain, safety Colin Jones (groin) and linebacker David Mayo (hamstring) also sat out Thursday.
