Panthers hold fully padded Friday practice in preparation for Super Bowl
Every Carolina Panthers player was accounted for Friday for a fully padded practice before a day off on Saturday.
The Panthers depart on Sunday, a week before Super Bowl 50. They will face the Denver Broncos on Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Santa Clara, Calif.
Thomas Davis arrived at practice with a brace on his surgically repaired right forearm. He took part in installation, stretching and individual drills and later went inside for treatment.
Running back Jonathan Stewart (ankle) and fullback Mike Tolbert (knee) did not participate. Defensive end Charles Johnson (knee), center Ryan Kalil (knee), defensive tackle Kawann Short (knee) and running back Fozzy Whittaker (ankle) were limited.
Receiver Corey Brown (ankle) and cornerback Robert McClain (ankle) were full participants.
