The end of the Dab? Cam Newton sacks the celebration
The Dab is dead, for now.
A year after Dabbin’ his way to the Super Bowl, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton squashed the idea he would resurrect the hit dance move he made famous.
“I have to put that aside,” he said Thursday morning on WFNZ-610 AM.
When asked what would replace the Dab as his touchdown celebration, Newton was less clear.
“I have time,” he said. “I have till September to find out.”
Newton appeared on The Fan’s Mac Attack to promote his charity kickball event Friday, including the guests who would be there. Among them: Migos, the hip-hop trio famous for inventing the Dab.
