Finally, someone’s putting real money – albeit, not much – on the Super Bowl showdown between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.

Reed Gold Mine State Historic Site in Midland, N.C., and the Western Museum of Mining and Industry in Colorado Springs are wagering gold nuggets on Sunday’s game.

Both the Panthers and Broncos are headquartered in cities once home to U.S. mints, and mints still operate in Denver and San Francisco today, according to a news release from the N.C. Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. Each mine will provide a gold ore valued between $40 to $50.

The Colorado nugget comes from the Hidee Gold Mine, west of Denver, and the North Carolina nugget comes from Bill Brewer, owner of Carolina Prospectors in Statesville.
