Cam Newton: ‘I will and want to be the greatest football player to ever play this game’
In a new video released via the Players’ Tribune, Panthers QB Cam Newton says he wrote Panthers owner Jerry Richardson before he was drafted and told Richardson that he wanted to be the greatest football player ever. He also talks about his burning desire to never lose.
“For a person to sit up and tell me that’s it OK, you can’t win ‘em all,” Newton said, then smiled. “Yes, you can.”
He also talks about why he celebrates the way he does.
