The Canes could clinch the series and head to the Stanley Cup Finals with just one more win over the Montreal Canadiens. Here are some spots where you can catch all the action:

Smoky Hollow, Raleigh

Smoky Hollow near downtown Raleigh is offering a free, outdoor watch party for Game 5 on the district’s 15-foot jumbotron.

After the district hosted a similar watch party for Game 4, Canes fans were reaching out on social media to ask if another was scheduled. About 300 people attended the Game 4 watch party, according to the Smoky Hollow Facebook account.

“HEY RALEIGH: You asked and we’ve answered,” the account posted.

The account advised fans to bring their own chairs and to use rideshare services since parking is limited.

Smoky Hollow is an approved social district, meaning food and beverages are available to buy within the boundaries and enjoy during the game.

While puck drop is scheduled for 8 p.m., the district will be open all day, and it said guests can join whenever.

The Avenue, Raleigh

Another location with outdoor jumbotron viewing is The Avenue on Glenwood Avenue.

The bar at 3 Glenwood Ave. said on social media that puck drop is scheduled for 8 p.m., “and we are watching every second of it on the big screen outside.”

Tin Roof, Raleigh

Also near Glenwood South is Tin Roof, a live music venue, which will show Game 5.

The watch party begins at 8 p.m. and is free to attend.

Pourworks Craft Beer and Wine, Raleigh

Pourworks is hosting a watch party and told fans on social media to come and “catch every hit, goal, and heart-pounding moment” starting at 8 p.m.

The craft beer and wine bar said the game will be shown on “big screens” with “cold drinks flowing.”

White Street Brewing Co. Taproom, Wake Forest

White Street Brewing Co. Taproom in Wake Forest advertised a Game 5 watch party with “specials and Canes cocktails available,” according to its website.

The event runs from 8 to 11 p.m.

Glass Jug Beer Lab, Durham

The Glass Jug Beer Lab in downtown Durham is hosting a watch party alongside the Carolina Gayniacs, an inclusive LGBTQ+ Canes fan group.

The beer lab has two spots in Durham, but the watch party will be held at the Foster Street location.

Glass Jug said on social media that “Game 5 promises to be epic — grab a bev and don’t miss it.”

Market on Morehead, Charlotte

For Charlotte viewers, the Market on Morehead restaurant plans to show Game 5 on Friday on their 25-foot LED jumbotron.

According to social media, the restaurant has booked music producer and DJ Richard Alexander, who goes by the name Hitman Bruh.

The event runs from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Future away games

Whether the Habs force a Game 6 or the Canes advance to the finals, Carolina will be playing games away from Lenovo Center in the near future. Here’s where to catch those:

The Rialto

Hayes Permar, manager — and “chief popcorn popper” — of The Rialto in Raleigh, said the theater would likely put Sunday’s Game 6 on, if it comes to that.

Permar also confirmed that if the Canes advance to the finals, The Rialto will continue to show away games, as schedules permit.

Carolina Ale House

Carolina Ale House is the official “Road Game HQ” of the Hurricanes, per the team’s website.

The Ale House has multiple locations across the Triangle and beyond, including in Wilmington, Winston-Salem and Charlotte.

The Canes website also boasts that Carolina Ale House watch parties feature games, contests, prizes, and even visits from the Canes Crew and Stormy.
