The Hounds wrap up a three-game homestand against the Machine, the first of three Friday night games for Charlotte. … After beating the Boston Cannons in overtime in Week 2, the Hounds have lost five straight, including last week’s 21-16 shootout against the undefeated New York Lizards. … The Machine have won their past three games, including a 14-10 victory over Charlotte on May 16, and are currently in a four-way tie for second in the Major League Lacrosse standings. … Including the May 16 victory, Ohio has won its past three games against the Hounds after going 0-4 over the 2012 and 2013 seasons. … Charlotte defender Brett Schmidt returns after missing two games on injured reserve; however, defender Michael Erhardt was placed on the two-game IR this week. To fill Erhardt’s spot, the Hounds activated Princeton midfielder Kip Orban, their third-round pick in the 2015 draft, off the collegiate inactive list.
