The Hounds play their final Major League Lacrosse home game this season on Saturday afternoon in a rematch against the Launch. Last week, Florida won 19-9 in Boca Raton, Fla., behind a career-best seven goals by rookie Lyle Thompson. … Charlotte is 1-5 at Memorial Stadium this season, the lone win coming over the previously-undefeated New York Lizards on June 20. … Since the former Hamilton (Ontario, Canada) Nationals franchise relocated to Florida in 2014, the Hounds have gone 1-2 against them. Charlotte’s lone win came last year at Memorial Stadium. … Both teams sit at the bottom of the MLL standings and are technically out of the playoffs, but the Hounds and Launch can still play spoilers. Following Saturday’s game, Charlotte has road games against the Rochester (N.Y.) Rattlers (6-5) and Chesapeake Bayhawks (5-6), while Florida has a road game against the Denver Outlaws and a home game against the Rattlers. … On the Launch roster is Charlotte resident Jovan Miller, who played for the Hounds in 2012-2013. Miller is with his third team this season, beginning the year with the Bayhawks, then being traded to the Ohio Machine, then to Florida three weeks ago. Bill Kiser
