Sept. 1-30: N.C. season on Canada geese.

Sept. 1-Oct. 3: First segment of N.C. season on rails, gallinules and moorhens. Second segment is Oct. 23-Nov. 28.

Sept. 5-7: Opening segment of S.C. dove season. Shooting hours are noon until sunset.

Sept. 5-Oct. 10: First segment of N.C. dove season. Second segment is Nov. 23-Jan. 15.

Sept. 8-Oct. 17: Second segment of S.C. dove season. Shooting hours are 30 minutes before sunrise until sunset. Following segments are Nov. 14-28 and Dec. 15-Jan. 15 with the same shooting hours.

Sept. 12-30: N.C. season on September teal (east of U.S. 17 only).
