Saturday: Catawba Catfish Club tournament, Lake Wylie, 7 a.m.-3 p.m., based at Buster Boyd Bridge Access Area. Entry fee $150 per team. Information: catawbacatfishclub@yahoo.com.

Saturday through Nov. 28: Third segment of S.C. dove season. Shooting hours are 30 minutes before sunrise until sunset.

Saturday through Jan. 1: Regular firearms deer season in N.C. western counties. Information: ncwildlife.org.

Nov. 20: End of blackpowder deer season in northwestern N.C. counties. Information: ncwildlife.org.

Nov. 21-Feb. 29: Statewide N.C. hunting seasons for quail and rabbit.

Nov. 22: Archery deer season in N.C. western counties ends. Information: ncwildlife.org.

Dec. 10: Meeting of N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission’s 19-member board, 9 a.m., agency headquarters, 1751 Varsity Drive, Raleigh. Open to public.

Dec. 15-Jan. 15: Final segment of S.C. dove season. Shooting hours are 30 minutes before sunrise until sunset.

Dec. 17-Jan. 30: N.C. season on woodcock.

Feb. 29: Statewide N.C. hunting seasons for gray and red squirrel, raccoon, bobcat and opossum end.

Feb. 29: Hunting season in Western N.C. counties for mountain grouse ends.
