The Observer’s writers covering this week’s Masters tournament at Augusta National Club (Ga.) predict the champion:

SCOTT FOWLER: Tiger Woods in a landslide. ... Wait. What do you mean he’s not playing? OK – Rickie Fowler. Big game, great last name.

RON GREEN JR: Louis Oosthuizen. The owner of golf’s prettiest swing will soon have a green jacket to go with it.

DAVID SCOTT: Dustin Johnson. Columbia native tied for sixth last year and had two rounds under 70. It’s time for him to claim his first major after his missteps of the past.
