5:30 p.m. update

Shane Lowry and Danny Lee are also at 4-under and haven’t completed their rounds.
Three back are Spieth’s playing partner Paul Casey and Justin Rose (who shot 69s), and Ian Poulter
Ernie Els got off to a bad start, seven-putting the par-4 first hole for a 10. It was also a rough day for Rickie Fowler, who had an 8-over 80. Fowler had a triple bogey on the 13th and a double bogey on 16.
Tom Watson, playing in his final Masters, shot a 2-over 74.
