Gwen Stefani bringing tour to Charlotte in July
Gwen Stefani has a new-ish boyfriend (Blake Shelton) and an even newer album (“This Is What the Truth Feels Like”), but it’s going to feel a lot like 2004 this summer.
The No Doubt co-founder is hitting the road with rapper Eve, who she collaborated with on pop hits “Rich Girl” and “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” more than a decade ago; the pair will perform at PNC Music Pavilion on July 23, with Stefani as the headliner.
Stefani – who last performed in Charlotte (at the same venue) with her band in June 2009 – announced the “This Is What the Truth Feels Like” tour via Twitter on Monday morning.

Stefani, 46, has won three Grammy Awards: for “Hey Baby” and “Underneath It All,” with No Doubt, and for “Let Me Blow Ya Mind.” She’s also known by fans of NBC’s “The Voice,” having served as a judge for the seventh and ninth season, and as an advisor in Seasons 8 and 10 (the current season).
Tickets for Stefani and Eve’s Charlotte show go on sale Friday at www.livenation.com.
