American Airlines: ‘Connectivity issues’ resolved
American Airlines said it resolved the “connectivity issues” that grounded flights Thursday into and out of hub cities Dallas, Chicago and Miami.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to get our customers on their way as soon as possible,” Katie Cody, a Charlotte-based corporate communications manager for American, said in an email.
The carrier only had one flight delay in Charlotte and it was to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Cody added.
Responding to customer complaints earlier in the day, the airline said via Twitter that “technical issues” had slowed operations at several airports.
FAA Air Traffic Alert: @AmericanAir requested a ground stop for all of their traffic in and out of DFW/ORD/MIA due to their computer issue.
