Charlotte’s Tracy Dodson appointed to N.C. DOT board
Gov. Pat McCrory appointed Charlottean Tracy Dodson to the N.C. Board of Transportation on Monday.
Dodson, a vice president at the development firm Lincoln Harris, has previously worked for Charlotte Center City Partners, Harris Development Group and the city of Charlotte.
The 18-member board creates the state’s transportation plans, including how to spend Highway Trust Fund dollars.
Dodson will serve a four-year term. She replaces John Collett as the representative for Division 10, which includes Mecklenburg, Union, Anson, Cabarrus and Stanly counties.
