Mecklenburg deputy’s cruiser catches fire
A Mecklenburg County Sheriff's deputy cruiser caught fire in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood Monday morning.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. on Elizabeth Avenue. No one was in the vehicle at the time, according to WBTV, the Observer’s news partner.
No injuries were reported. The Charlotte Fire Department is investigating what started the fire.
