2 shot in Salisbury near Livingstone College

Two people were shot in Salisbury near Livingstone College Monday night, according to police.

The double shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. near South Craige and Monroe streets. Officials said the incident happened off campus.

Police have not released information about circumstances that led to the shooting but confirmed that two people were injured, according to WBTV, the Observer’s news partner.

The victims, whose names have not been released, are expected to survive.

Investigators have not said whether anyone was taken into custody.
