Police search for cargo van that hit and killed 6-year-old boy

Police on Tuesday released a more detailed description of the van they said struck and killed a 6-year-old boy Sunday on Eastway Drive and then drove away.

Anthony Santos Castellon-Rivera was hit while crossing Eastway at Audrey Street. He died at Carolinas Medical Center.

The vehicle is a white Ford E-150 cargo van with possible S.C. license plates, a silver star-shaped front right rim, no hubcap on the back right tire and damage along the right side of the van, including the front right corner, police said.

Police said the driver is Hispanic, in his mid-30s with curly black hair. He wore a blue shirt and blue jeans.
