Hurricane Matthew rips through South Carolina piers

Hurricane Matthew made landfall on Saturday in South Carolina north of Charleston, near the town of McClellanville, leaving floods and death in its wake.

Photos and other social reports show parts of Surfside Pier and Springmade Pier in Myrtle Beach were washed out in the storm.
