CMS board candidates are clean on background, voting checks
The nine candidates for Charlotte-Mecklenburg school board don’t have criminal or civil records that might affect their ability to serve, an Observer check indicates.
Researcher Maria David checked the records for the past 10 years in North Carolina on Angela Ambroise, Janeen Bryant, Larry Bumgarner, Elyse Dashew, Ericka Ellis-Stewart, Levester Flowers, Mary McCray, Jeremy Stephenson and Amelia Stinson-Wesley and found no issues. All of them have also voted in recent elections.
