Davidson lands Will Magarity, 6-11 transfer from Boston College

Will Magarity, a 6-foot-11 transfer from Boston College, has been admitted at Davidson and will be eligible to play for the Wildcats in the 2016-17 season.

Magarity, who averaged 3.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 22 games last season, will have two years of eligibility.

“We’re very, very happy to have Will Magarity join our program,” said Wildcats coach Bob McKillop. “He is a perfect fit for our style of play. He will be a superb addition to Davidson as both a student and an athlete.”

Magarity is from Stockholm, Sweden, and played for the Norrkoping Dolphins before beginning his college career at Boston College.
