Matchup to Watch
John Wall vs. Mo Williams: Williams has been a terrific offensive player for the Hornets, but he’s limited defensively. Wall averages a double-double in points and assists this season.
Observations
▪ The Hornets are a surprising 2-0 against the Wizards this season. After a great start the Wizards have tailed off some over the past month.
▪ Wizards small forward Paul Pierce has been one of the toughest scorers for the Bobcats/Hornets to contain. He seemed always to get the ball late when he played for the Celtics.
Tap-ins
▪ Wall has been hinting he’d like some time off to rest injuries.
▪ The Wizards got Sunday off while the Hornets were in Michigan playing the Pistons.
Did you know?
The Bobcats/Hornets traditionally struggle in the Southeast Division, but they are 7-4 this season.
