Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton partied at the rain-soaked Preakness triple-crown horse race Saturday, and his act of chivalry is making waves on social networks.

Heavy rain moved into the Baltimore area about 40 minutes before the triple-crown race was set to go off at 6:18 p.m. Because of distant lightning, fans in the infield were told by track officials to move across the track to find cover. The track's social media team captured a Snapchat video of Newton carrying a woman across the muddy track. Here's the video, posted by BlackAndBlueReview.com.
