3 Carolina Panthers players to watch vs. Miami Dolphins
Three Panthers players to watch in Saturday’s exhibition game against Miami:
15 Jarrett Boykin, WR: The receiving corps is reeling after Kelvin Benjamin’s season-ending knee injury, and Devin Funchess won’t play due to a hamstring injury. Former Packer Jarrett Boykin isn’t a candidate for the No. 1 spot, but he’s come on of late.
70 Trai Turner, OG: Second-year guard Trai Turner had his hands full with Ndamukong Suh during the joint practices with the Dolphins this week. Turner fared better the second day, and will get another shot at the player Panthers coach Ron Rivera raved about.
97 Mario Addison, DE: The pass rush was virtually nonexistent in the first exhibition at Buffalo. Starting DE Charles Johnson is still out with a calf strain, so it would help if speed rusher Mario Addison can come off the edge and get to Ryan Tannehill.
