No surprises among Carolina Panthers inactives for Super Bowl 50

There are no surprises with the Carolina Panthers’ seven inactive players for Super Bowl 50.

Receiver Brenton Bersin, cornerback Lou Young, safety Dean Marlowe, running back Brandon Wegher, receiver Kevin Norwood, running back Cameron Artis-Payne and defensive end Ryan Delaire will not be in uniform for Carolina.

The Panthers will go with Jonathan Stewart, Mike Tolbert and Fozzy Whittaker in the backfield. The team also feels comfortable enough with Jared Allen’s foot to sit Delaire.

And with Thomas Davis’ surgically repaired forearm, all linebackers are active.

QB Trevor Siemian, CB Lorenzo Doss, CB Taurean Nixon, RB Juwan Thompson, OL Sam Brenner, DL Robert Myers and DL Darius Kilgo are inactive for the Broncos.
