Cam Newton grants 11-year-old’s Make-A-Wish dream
Cam Newton took time from his busy offseason to make a boy’s wish come true last month.
Newton hosted Noah, an 11-year-old who was born with a congenital vascular disorder called Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome, on April 1. The condition causes Noah’s left leg to be 3 centimeters longer and wider than his right leg.
At age 7, Noah also developed a protein deficiency and blood clots that require frequent hospitalization.
Newton met Noah at Strike City at the Epicentre before going to a Charlotte Hornets game together. Noah also toured Bank of America Stadium and met Panthers Kelvin Benjamin and Stephen Hill.
The Cam Newton Foundation partnered with Make-A-Wish and Lokai, a lifestyle brand that makes bracelets, to grant three children’s dreams of meeting the NFL Most Valuable Player.
