Three questions with Carolina Panthers QB/WR/RB/ST Joe Webb:

Q. When people ask you what position you play, what do you tell them?

A. “Ahh. Right now it’s hard to say. I say quarterback because that’s what I’m listed as. But of course people know I do other things.”

Q. Kordell Stewart was “Slash” a dozen or so years ago. What are you?

A. “I would pretty much say the same deal. I used to look up to Kordell when he played at Pittsburgh. I watched him when he played at Colorado. He was known for that famous Hail Mary. That was one of the guys that I did look up to growing up.”

Q. When you’re in the huddle — you know you have a thick country accent — can everyone understand you?

A. “Yeah I slow it down for those guys. I break it down in pieces. They get me pretty good. I throw hand signals, whatever I got to do for them to get the play down.”
