Carolina Panthers should beat New Orleans on Thursday, but will they?
I’m 5-4 picking the Panthers this season. Thursday’s home game against New Orleans is a challenge. (But if you’re 5-4, isn’t every game?)
The Saints lost to the Denver Broncos last week because of a rule that was enacted only a season ago. Denver blocked an extra point attempt and returned it to the end zone for two points. The Broncos won 25-23.
Carolina ought to win this week. The Panthers defense is superior to the Saints defense. But I like New Orleans anyway. Saints 33, Panthers 29.
