West Charlotte Road closed for repairs after water main break
A west Charlotte road will be closed until repairs to a water main break are finished, Charlotte Water said Monday.
West Morehead Street near Interstate 77 was closed for emergency pipe replacement, the department said in a post at 6:55 a.m.
Traffic traveling east will take West Fourth Street; westbound will take Berryhill Road, the department said.
It is the second time this month West Morehead has been closed because of a water main break. The section near Calvert Street was shut down on Feb. 4.
