Ballantyne bar and nightclub closes suddenly, leaving customers wondering why
Blue Olive Lounge has closed its Ballantyne location, and Charlotte-area customers wondered why — as the nightclub seemed as busy as ever over recent weeks.
“The management of the Blue Olive Lounge Ballantyne our Ballantyne Charlotte, North Carolina location would like to inform you that we are CLOSED PERMANENTLY effective immediately,” Owner Sal Russo posted on Facebook on Thursday, May 12. “We thank you for your cooperation and your past business,” he said.
“I was just there a few weeks ago! Was packed. Didn’t seem like business was problem,” customer Em Dill wrote on the bar’s Facebook page.
The lounge also has a location in Fort Mill’s Tega Cay Village.
