Popular Middle Eastern restaurant opens its first Carolinas location
An Illinois-based Middle Eastern restaurant has made its Carolinas debut in Fort Mill.
Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill will hold its grand opening on Monday, Nov. 21 at 10:30 a.m. in the Brayden Village shopping center.
“We’re excited to share our authentic Middle Eastern cuisine with the people of Fort Mill,” Nico Nieto, Naf Naf CMO, said in a statement. “We think they’ll love our award-winning Chicken Shawarma and there are few things as delectable as our freshly made falafel.”
The restaurant features customizable entrees, including stuffed pita sandwiches, salads or grain bowls:
- Grains include basmati rice and couscous.
- Protein choices include Chicken Shawarma, Middle Eastern Steak or Crispy Chicken Schnitzel, or plant-based falafel.
- Toppings (the best part!) include Sumac Onions, Purple Cabbage, Middle Eastern Pickles and Chopped Tomato Cucumber Salad.
- Add one of Naf Naf’s scratch-made sauces to finish off your meal: Tahini, garlic sauce, S’khug or harissa.
The first Naf Naf opened in 2009 in Naperville, Illinois. Once it opens in Dallas, Atlanta and Fort Mill, the restaurant will have expanded to 12 states.
