A new popular pizza restaurant is officially coming to town.

PIE.ZAA is expanding with a second location opening in South End. The late night pizza spot, which originally opened in Asheville in 2020, is known for its huge New York-style pizza. Pretty soon, you’ll be able to get a taste right here in Charlotte.

“We are super excited to bring our concept to Charlotte,“ PIE.ZAA owner Tyler Kotch told CharlotteFive. “We have had three years in Asheville to prepare ourselves for the big leagues in the South End. We look forward to serving up some of the best ZAA in town and making a lot of new friends.”

PIE.ZAA has a wide variety of pizza flavors on the menu, including classics like pepperoni and sausage and a specialty pie that changes every month, all available by the slice or as a whole pie. Plus, there will be oversized cookies for those with a sweet tooth.

An official opening date has yet to be announced, but the team is anticipating opening at the end of the year or the beginning of 2024. Keep an eye on this space as we add more updates on the new restaurant.
