Get Bacavo ranch, Cordon bleu, custard in Charlotte at this new fast-casual spot
If Super Chix sounds vaguely familiar, you may remember it from the fast-casual restaurant’s grand entrance in 2021 into suburban Fort Mill, S.C., where lines stretched out the doors for weeks. Now, the small but quickly growing chicken-focused chain has opened in Charlotte.
The Stone Crest at Piper Glen location follows on the heels of the Fort Mill restaurant’s opening and an Indian Land, S.C., location that came a year later.
“The community has embraced us ... it’s been a great relationship for us,” Todd Gallinek, who owns the restaurants with partner Deepen Patel, told CharlotteFive.
Super Chix serves chicken tenders, custard and fries, along with chicken sandwiches and salads.
Customers can choose whether their chicken is breaded and fried or grilled, with sandwich options including Nashville Hot, Cordon Bleu, Bacavo Ranch and the veggie-forward Crispy Avocado. On the side, you can order loaded fries covered with queso blanco, bacon and green onions, or pair your meal with fried pickles or coleslaw.
The restaurant chain now has 25 locations, withsix more on the way, including the Charlotte eatery and one in Boiling Springs, SC.
