New York-style bagel shop offering savory, sweet options is opening in South Charlotte
Soon, there will be a new spot in Charlotte to treat yourself to a classic New York-style bagel.
After months of anticipation, New York Old School Bagel & Deli will officially be opening its doors at Carmel Village in South Charlotte on Thursday, Dec. 14.
As a native New Yorker, owner Mark Stordeur wants his shop to embody a full Big Apple experience in the Queen City, with bagels made from scratch every morning, CharlotteFive previously reported.
“I’m not the first bagel place here in Charlotte, but I know there’s room for more and people are craving it,” Storduer explained. “I know within my heart that I’m giving you the same type of product you can find in New York.”
From savory to sweet, New York Old School Bagel & Deli will have a long list of bagel options on the menu, including plain, sesame, blueberry, garlic and onion, and other items to top it off like bacon, sausage, deli meats, and cream cheeses. Plus, the bagel shop will also have New York hard roll sandwiches and cold cuts.
