Popular SC breakfast restaurant to bring 6 new locations to Charlotte area
A fan-favorite breakfast spot in the Carolinas is making its way to Charlotte.
Following its expansion to nearby spots including Gastonia, Fort Mill, Rock Hill and Lake Norman, Eggs Up Grill will be opening six new locations around the area.
The popular breakfast, brunch and lunch spot — which was founded over 25 years ago in Pawleys Island, SC — has 81 restaurants across the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas and Mississippi.
Since then, it’s become one of the largest franchised breakfast spots in the country, the team says, with more than 100 locations under development or set to open over the next 10 years.
“This next phase of growth for me is really just the beginning of what I plan to accomplish with Eggs Up Grill, and I am honored to be on the ground floor of driving that momentum in the Carolinas,” said franchisee Conley McIntyre, who also owns six Eggs Up Grill locations in South Carolina.
“To be honest, I just love going to work every day. I love the brand, the breakfast space, the hours and that our growth potential is limitless.”
Known as a restaurant of “neighbors serving neighbors,” Eggs Up Grill serves a full menu of breakfast classics, brunch bites and lunch, like farm-fresh eggs, omelets, waffles, burgers, salads and more from open to close.
As of now, the team has not announced when the new restaurants will be open for business or where — but the first of the six will open its doors this year in Monroe.
