Taco Molino Mexican Kitchen & Agave Bar, a popular Fort Mill restaurant for tacos and tequila with a patio view of the Kingsley pond, will permanently close at the end of the year because the restaurant’s owner is selling the business.

“Thank you to all our guests and our dedicated staff for a great five-year run at Kingsley Town Center. We have enjoyed being a part of the community and hope to see many of you over the next nine days to share our love of Mexican street food and bid farewell,” chef/owner Scott Wallen said in a news release.

Wallen added, “This doesn’t necessarily signal the end of Taco Molino. It’s a concept that Burke Hospitality owner Tom Sasser and I love, and we are open to finding a new location for it in the future.”

Tacos, burrito bowls and salads are on the modern Mexican food menu, along with chicken tinga nachos, street corn and fundido cheese enchiladas.

Burke Hospitality, which has managed Taco Molino, is working to relocate the staff there to their other restaurants and has provided letters of recommendation to those looking for change. Burke owns Mimosa Grill and Horace’s Nashville Hot Fried Chicken, plus One Catering.
