Is SouthPark the best mall in the nation? Your vote could help decide

SouthPark is among the 20 best malls in the country, according to USA Today. But is it the best? That’s where you come in.

The mall was nominated for USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards in the Best Mall category, ranking it with shopping centers across the U.S.

SouthPark is home to more than 160 stores and restaurants, including luxury brands, national retailers and several local businesses, including recent additions like Spanish fashion retailer Zara and Australian brand QUAY Eyewear.

SouthPark store openings

Here are some other recent and upcoming store openings in SouthPark:

• TileBar: The “immersive showroom” showcases the wall and floor tile with thousands of styles and finishes for kitchens, baths and interiors for homeowners and designers. Located at The Village at SouthPark, the store opened in April.
• Garage: The Montreal-based young women’s clothing brand has “elevated basics to everyday essentials” with monthly drops. The store is expected to open in June near the dining pavilion.
• A Material Good: Three iconic Swiss watchmakers — IWC Schaffhausen, Panerai and Jaeger-LeCoultre — will debut a joint venture boutique between Kodak Group and Material Good in the mall’s luxury wing. It’s expected to open in June.
• Suitsupply: A European fashion men’s suit company made with Italian fabrics sourced from mills such as Larusmiani and Vitale Barberis Canonico. The store is expected to open this year.
• Arhaus: A home furnishing brand known for artisan-crafted furniture and décor is relocating and expanding at The Village at SouthPark with a standalone showroom. Located between Michael Kors and Coach, the store will open in July.

Swatch, which opened a store at the mall last year, made national headlines last weekend when the release of its collaborative pocket watch with luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet drew hundreds of people to the mall before the doors even opened, CharlotteFive reported.
