When it comes to holiday coffee, what’s your favorite? Chains like Starbucks or local?
When it comes to holiday coffee drinks in Charlotte, we want to know: Do you prefer your local coffee shop or a big chain?
On Wednesday, Starbucks announced its holiday lineup, which includes old and new favorites:
- Peppermint Mocha (which turns 19 this year)
- a new Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte (non-dairy)
- Irish Cream Cold Brew
- Caramel Brulee Latte
- Toasted White Chocolate Mocha
- and Chestnut Praline Latte.
Dunkin’ has its signature lattes:
And of course, every year our Charlotte coffee shops come through with classic and modern twists on holiday coffee drinks. (Stay tuned for our 2021 holiday coffee guide).
Local coffee shops are the best, and also ...
Here at CharlotteFive and in our foodie city, we know that local spots rule every time. (Here’s a reminder to vote in our survey seeking the best coffee shop in Charlotte. We’ve gotten hundreds of votes and will post the results next week!)
But also — sometimes, you’re catching flights at Charlotte Douglas and you need a Chick-fil-A Peppermint Chip milkshake (not a coffee drink, but it does have peppermint ...). And we all know the I-85 Gaffney exit Starbucks with its drive-thru makes a perfect pit stop on the way to Greenville or Atlanta.
So, when it comes to holiday drinks, we want to know: are you dreaming of a Dunkin’ Toasted White Chocolate Christmas or are you sticking with our local spots, every time? You can submit your favorite holiday drinks in our survey below. This is not a scientific poll or survey. If you have more than one favorite, you can refresh the page and submit a second option.
