The time has come: Crepe Cellars owners have announced the European gastropub is closing Jan. 30 to make way for their new Italian concept, Ever Andalo.

“As a family, we have been touched by how much this place has meant to people over the last 13 years, and we are so grateful to have been a part of our community’s lives,” owners Jamie Brown and Jeff Tonidandel said via email. “We’ve witnessed proposals, anniversaries, birthdays, first dates and even ‘life celebrations’ post funerals. It’s an honor to get to be a part of all these special moments of life.”

The restaurant space will be closed for about a month for construction, decor and equipment installation, and then staff training. Ever Andalo is expected to open in late February. A new executive chef will join the restaurant, while Crepe Cellar executive chef Steve Kuney will transition into a corporate chef role at Tonidandel-Brown restaurant group.

“Closing up has been a difficult decision, but it is also one that is opening the door for us to open Ever Andalo — a concept serving Italian food and wine — and we are SO excited for the experience that will come to life there, allowing us to continue to offer a special place for our community,” the couple said.
