A popular neighborhood market is on its way to the SouthPark area

Rhino Market & Deli, one of Charlotte’s favorite market/dining combo spots, is expanding to the SouthPark area early next year.

Located on Congress Street in Capitol Towers in Barclay Downs, Rhino Market’s fifth Charlotte location will be near Legion Brewing. This location will be bigger than the Rhino Market we’ve all come to know and love, with an expanded kitchen, more interior seating and two shaded patios.

Rhino Market & Deli has been a Charlotte staple since 2014, when it opened its first location in Wesley Heights. It is known for its fast-casual breakfast and lunch and grab-and-go foods as well as snacks, craft beer, fine wine and more. Other Charlotte locations include Uptown, SouthEnd, NoDa and Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Haven’t been? Here are a few menu favorites:

• Classic English Muffin Sandwich: scrambled egg, one protein, one cheese.

• Rhynho Salad: Mesculin mix, dried cranberries, carrots, tomatoes, croutons, roasted pecans, onions, choice dressing.

• Hot Roast Beef: Boar’s Head Deluxe Roast Beef, Sharp Wisconsin Cheddar, caramelized onions, banana peppers, poppy horseradish mayo on ciabatta.

• Tofu You: BBQ tofu, pickled veggies, lettuce,veganaise on sourdough.
