Dish, which has been closed for an extended period over equipment repairs, has now reopened.

Owner Amanda Cranford, who also owns Paper Plane Deli + Market, had been eager to get customers back in the door at the Plaza Midwood area restaurant that’s been a neighborhood staple for 20 years.

”It’s been hard since we’ve been closed, and, if I’m being honest, a little scary,” Cranford said. “But we’ve stayed positive and embraced the fact that there are things in life beyond our control, especially with an old building. Now, we’re just ready to get back to what we do best, serve the best comfort food and brunch in Charlotte.”

Now, she’s ready to get back in business, with new hours and new menu items.

“We’ve missed our customers, community, and the late-night laughs. Although we’ve been closed longer than expected to make some expected and unexpected upgrades, we have been so touched by the outpouring of support from the Plaza community. Just another reason that Plaza is the best neighborhood.”
