Order milkshakes overflowing with toppings at this dessert shop now open in Charlotte
A dessert shop featuring loaded milkshakes, ice cream bowls, edible cookie dough and more is holding a soft opening at Elizabeth on Seventh and fully opens Friday, March 8.
The restaurant will be The Yard Milkshake Bar’s first location in Charlotte. The dessert shop also located in Raleigh — created by married couple Logan and Chelsea Green — was featured on “Shark Tank” in 2019 and has grown to 29 locations.
The Yard specializes in over-the-top milkshake and sundae creations such as the Cookie Monster with blue Cookie Monster ice cream with marshmallow drizzles, a chocolate iced jar, Cookie Crisp around the rim and topped with a cookie dough sandwich, whipped cream and Cookie Crisp cereal. It also offers eight flavors of cookie dough available as a pop or in a pint jar, including Birthday Dunk A Dough, Peanut Butter Monster and Snickerdoodle.
“We are very excited to bring The Yard Milkshake Bar to Charlotte! Our family-friendly, over-the-top dessert destination is sure to create memorable experiences for our guests and community. Stay tuned for a grand opening announcement in early 2024,” said Matt Palmer, the franchisee who will own the Charlotte location.
The development will also add a Barre 3 location to the mix of retail and office space at Elizabeth on Seventh, where Catalina Kitchen + Bar and Rosemont Market & Wine Bar recently opened.
