Wood-fired pizza spot now open at uptown Charlotte ‘elevated street eats’ destination
A pizza restaurant that pledges clean, organic ingredients is joining the lineup of food spots in uptown Charlotte.
800º Carolinas has opened at The Alley at Latta Arcade, a newly renovated space for “elevated street eats.” It’s on the development’s lower level, CharlotteFive previously reported.
The restaurant, which was founded back in 2011, opened its first North Carolina location at Phillips Place about three years ago — with another coming to South End in December.
Similar to its other locations across the country, the new restaurant at The Alley will serve up some of its signature menu staples, including specialty pizzas, sandwiches, salads and more– all made with a “clean-eating promise” of local and organic ingredients, cooked only with extra virgin olive oil.
Just a few steps away, its sister concept, Bar One Lounge, is also expected to open later this summer at The Stuward.
“These additions to The Alley at Latta Arcade and The Stuward are the next step in our enhancements to the buildings themselves and to Uptown overall,” Jeff Merrian, director of investments and asset management at Northpond, previously said in a statement.
